Oh, hello there. It’s been *looks at watch* a month since I’ve posted. I was on my long run this morning with Brad and he reminded me that I have not blogged in awhile and I got excited that one person missed me so here I am. Brad couldn’t believe that I haven’t blogged about my new Garmin Forerunner 225, so here it is in all its glory.
I didn’t need a new Garmin but Michelle texted me that it was on super sale on the Amazon app and my “purchase” finger got itchy. So far, I love it! I wish the back light button was on top instead of the left, but it’s a huge improvement from the POS Forerunner 405 that I’ve been using for years.
While I’ve been away, I’ve been stressing out about Christmas shopping and finishing up my semester of school. Christmas shopping has been exceptionally hard this year. I have no idea what to buy for anyone. I can’t wait until I’m old enough where people will believe me when I tell them that I didn’t buy anything because I forgot Christmas was in December.
This semester has been exceptionally easy and I’m completely convinced that my instructor has not read anything that I’ve turned in. I literally got 100% on all three of my major assignments. Two of those were group assignments. For the first group assignment, every group received a 100% (you can see the high/low scores in Webcourses). I don’t know how that’s even possible, but my friend told me not to look a gift 100% in the mouth, so I guess I won’t.
Besides all the usual working, schooling, training for a half in January, and generally being busy, we have managed to get super Christmasy this year. We bought a new tree and it can change colors!
I had a white tree growing up and hubs and I have had a white tree for over 8 years now, so in an effort to stop being so racist against trees, we got green one too.
Never enough trees.
I’ve been pretty bad at taking pictures this year, so that’s what I want to work on next year. Hubs and I have so few new pictures together so I’m going to change that…starting last weekend. It’s a selfie, but it’s a start. It was also on “Winter’s Day,” aka, the one cool day in Orlando. (We have jackets on!)
That’s all for now. I hope everyone has a happy holiday and stays safe!
