The good news is, I survived half marathon #11 and discovered an untapped talent of balancing a beer, a phone, a napkin, two cookies, and a granola bar in one hand.
The bad news is, I can run a faster race when I’ve been drunk for two days and eaten nothing but greasy burritos, burgers, and lo-mein. (Wait, maybe that’s an untapped talent too?)
The good news is, three Red Bulls kept me awake enough for the four-hour car ride back from Miami with Michelle and for a concert that night with the hubs in which I did NOT lose anything.
The bad news is, my cold might be back, I’m super tired, and now I need to get through a day at work. So, I’ll be back with more about my crazy fun and crazy tiring weekend a little later. 🙂
Looking forward to your next post… and more pics of your cutie of a husband. Is that creepy? Probably.
Full of awesomeness you are! Love that shirt…and that medal is pretty cool, too! 😉
Love the medal! My IM friend, Jill, decorates her Christmas tree with all her medals and it’s beautiful! Pretty soon, you’ll be able to do that, too. I especially like the Gasparilla one you’re going to get.
I didn’t know Jill ran! I need a picture of her tree. 🙂

That is one major medal. And I love the shirt.
Great job! Can’t wait to hear the recap!
haha awesome, congrats. One time, me and a friend went out to a piano bar till 2am (drinks and all) then got up at 5 and ran a half. It was a blast.
You’re a rock star. Seriously. I couldn’t even make it to a concert last week — two days after our big night out. I suck. You rule. Can’t wait to read recaps of both!
You look so cute in that pic with your hubs – loving your hair and your shirt!!
And congrats on #11 – can’t wait to hear all about it!
Can’t wait to hear all about #11!
I love free beers after races. Makes it so much more worthwhile, I think.
Hey, that’s a pretty cool medal! Not as cool as a skull and crossbones, but not too shabby. Congrats on #11!. You are a skilled runner (and also balancer).
I think I actually might run better while drunk, honestly…
Hmm…now I’m thinking if I ever run a race I should definitely be drunk. Because I just don’t see myself doing it any other way. Why running is torture to me, I’ll never know. I’m still waiting to hear about an elliptical race one day… 😉
haha! You should start those up! I’ll be the photographer. 🙂

You rocked it! Dying for the full race recap to entertain me at work….!
That bad news is definitely a talent. Congrats on the race!
Half marathon number 11?! Yowzah! I thought I was badass with 7 under my belt.*
Congrats!
11 half marathons?! Damn girl!
Sooo I just wanted to tell you that I don’t think your hair has ever looked better. I know the dark color is completely and totally old news, but you seriously look gorg! 🙂 Awesome job finishing #11!!
Aww, thanks girlie! I’m so conflicted with my hair color right now. My roots are really hard to keep up with since my natural color is so light. No wonder I only do this color once a year. 🙂
Awesome job on completing #11! Can’t wait to read more about it.
Love your shirts (the race shirt and the concert shirt).
