Workout: Ran outside 10 miles (91 minutes)
This weather and view:
(pretty, no?)
plus this playlist:
(If you like Lady Gaga, get that Natalia Kills song. I always think it’s Miss G at first and love it!)
equals this run:
If I can keep that pace up for another 3.1 miles, I’ll have my sub-2-hour half marathon that I now only dream about. This run was without fuel too, so maybe it would have been better with some?
But my question is, does this run count as a good practice run when there was a stop (and Garmin pause) every 2.5 miles for various reasons and three stops in the last mile to walk for one minute because I was pooped?
Yes it counts! Sorry I was such a horrible running buddy today.
You made it 7 miles! That’s not horrible at all! And at least you weren’t feelin’ it during a practice run. You got it out of you system and you’re set for Gasparilla!
Sure!! Adrenaline in a race will carry you through 🙂
I say it totally counts! Bad run or good run during training just means you are prepared for anything that can happen during a race 🙂
It counts! As long as you get the mileage in I think that’s all that really matters.
It TOTALLY counts! What a beautiful place to run! I think a sub-2 hour half is TOTALLY within your reach!
I hope so! I’m really gonna try for my next race. It’s HARD keeping up that pace.
