I hope everyone is having a safe and happy holiday season.
Yesterday started out with a run in the park. It was a beautiful day. But I was not feeling it.
Workout: 7.1 miles (95 minutes)
This workout included bathroom break at 2.3 miles. And then a mad dash from 6.5 miles to 7.1 to get back to the bathroom. I pushed myself to finish by thinking of all the cookies I’ve eaten lately (thanks to Becky, I now know what white fudge dipped Oreos taste like), but I really felt miserable the whole time.
Christmas Eve, for me, is what Christmas is to most everyone else. The family comes over for dinner…

…we watch Christmas movies…

Can you guess which is mine? (Hint: It’s the classy one) |
…and we open gifts at midnight.

Bunnypants’ first Christmas present |
Hubs spent way too much on me for Christmas, as usual. Lucky for me, one of the things he picked out was this little gem.

A furry animal hat with an attached scarf and mitts at the end. |
Yes, I will wear that in public.
Christmas day is usually a relaxing day of a whole lot of nothing. Today, I’m cleaning the house and getting ready to head out to see my family in San Diego tomorrow. I can’t wait! I haven’t seen them in forever and…I love me some Cali.
Maybe Santa left me a stocking out there with a plane ticket and registration to the San Diego Rock n Roll Half Marathon in June…
I am in LOVE with that hat. And I owuld wear it. Everywhere. Seriously.
