I forgot to mention that I signed up for another race last week. It’s the U Can Finish 5-miler and the race is this weekend.
Not only is the race super close to home (15 minutes away) but the course is through the campus of the University of Central Florida, where I graduated from college, so I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll be running this one with my bestest running buddy in the world too, so it doesn’t get much better than that.

Here’s where you guys come in. Be the first to guess my finish time, and I’ll buy you a $10.00 gift certificate to either Starbucks or Target (your choice). I know it’s not much, but this is just for fun so please only call me cheap behind my back. In this economy, you need to make due with what you got.
The rules:
- The first person that comes closest to guessing my finish time (without going over) wins. So if you guess the winning time but someone else also guessed that time before you, no dice.
- Need help guessing? Feel free to look at my Races page to check out my past finish times, or check out my Daily Mile page to see what my training has been like lately.
- Open to U.S. and Puerto Rico residents only (unless you have use for a U.S. dollar gift certificate elsewhere).
- Comments will close sometime Friday evening, so leave a comment with your guess before then.

I will be running it too! My first time doing an official race longer than a 5k. I am scared. But anyway, I think you will finish in 48:37.

I am a very lucky girl. My husband is willing to run just about any distance with me. A full marathon is the only thing he won’t do.
