Three Things Thursday

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a three things thursday. Who needs a blog with continuity anyway? Not this girl! While we’re on the subject of continuity, these three things have nothing to do with one another. Just the way I like it.

 1.  Last night, hubs and I watched 4 more episodes of Spartacus. We didn’t leave the couch from 8pm – 12am. Well, if you’re in the market for lots of man-genitals, this is the show for you.

We both really like it so far. Especially the genitals.

2.  I finally tried almond butter. I was hoping it was the solution to my peanut butter problem. Which then became my sunflower seed butter problem. I thought if I didn’t like it enough, it would stop me from eating as much of it. Nope. I still love it. I don’t love it as much as PB or sunflower seed butter, but it’s still good enough to eat the entire jar in a few days.

I will never have enough nut butter left in any jar to make overnight oats. Anyone that has had overnight oats in a jar means you did not lick the jar clean. This is known as “will power.” If you have had oats in a jar, you have will power. You may not think you do. But you do. Trust me.

3.  When I was growing up, there was a good 2 year span during the 80’s when I thought “different” was spelled “diff’rent” because of Diff’rent Strokes.

Eff you, Arnold.

i ordered this stuff online called PB2. They basically take all the oil out of the peanuts and its just powdered crap that u add water to. its so nasty but it definitely brought my nut butter addiction to a screeching halt. i think its like 20 cals a serving too.

haha Will & I tried to watch Sparticus but FAILED. We couldn’t get through 20 minutes without feeling like we were watching a softcore porno

  3. Hmm…need to try sunflower seed nut butter!

  4. Well, you know what? I never noticed Diff’rent Strokes was spelled that way! Shows how much I pay attention!

  5. Ummmm, I should have warned you. Almond butter is waaaaay more addicting than peanut butter. Seriously. So freaking good.

  6. All nut butters are soo insanely addicting. I have opened up next to me right now…I just had a bit with an apple but now I feel the need to keep plunging my spoon in for more. Must resist!

  7. Diff’rent made me smile! I thought Martin Luther (of Lutheranism) was the same as Martin Luther King Jr. For years, but that’s just because I wasn’t paying attention in school.*

  8. What’s going on, Paula? In your second picture, you don’t look happy because you’re not smiling.

Whatever, make me a bicycle, clown!

    :o)

  9. I never knew it was spelled that way.
I swear, every time I read your blog I have a revelation.

  10. Genitals, nut butter, and Gary Coleman. The next edition of your “search term” series is going to be one for the ages.

  11. Maybe give cashew butter a try? Its definitely not as good as sunflower seed or almond butter.

  12. I’ve resorted to getting peanut butter shipped to me from the states i’m that obsessed with justins nut butter and i sit with a spoon shoveling it in before the gym and my BF has to slowly pull it away from me or i will down the whole thing, mmmmmmmm :)

  13. Holy hell you really do clean that jar OUT! Haha I love that! I wasn’t too big of a fan of almond butter alone though- too dry for me. PB will always have my heart!

  14. My dad put Spartacus on while I was in the room and I got too sqwicked out to remain in the room. I just can’t watch a show with that much genitalia with my dad.
